Patient Surveys

North East Ambulance Service NHS Trust regularly surveys patients. We take your views and feed them back to our staff for action and to the commissioners who employ our services. For instance we feed back your views to the Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) in the region, who currently commission our Patient Transport Service.

So far this year we have carried out a number of surveys with Patient Transport Service patients and most recently a focus group. We have also carried out our first survey of Accident and Emergency patients and we will continue on with all of this work in the coming months.  

Patients are at the heart of care within the NHS and we want to give patients and carers more information, choice and control over how their care is delivered and to strengthen the voice of the public.

We are listening to your views and we are making changes as a result which we will inform you about directly or here on the website.
