Our Equality Strategy (2016-2020) ‘One Service for All’ was reviewed in 2016 with staff and stakeholders. The strategy sets out our commitments, aims and objectives to advance equality and promote social inclusion. We recognise our responsibilities to provide equal opportunities, eliminate discrimination, engage and consult with staff, patients and stakeholders and foster good relations in our activities as an employer, service provider and partner. The strategy is a live document and an annual action plan will identify the areas we will focus on.
This strategy has been designed in response to our requirements under the Equality Act (2010), our Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED) and supports us to meet our mandated responsibilities in relation to the NHS Equality Delivery System 2 (EDS2) and Workforce Race Equality Standard
