Patient Surveys

North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust regularly surveys patients. We take their views and feed them back to our staff for action and to the commissioners who employ our services, as well as to local Healthwatch Groups and other interested groups.

Patients are at the heart of care within the NHS and we want to give patients and carers more information, choice and control over how their care is delivered and to strengthen the voice of the public.

We are listening to their views and we are making changes as a result which we will inform you about directly or here on the website.

NHS England has introduced a new mandatory question for us to ask patients.

Called the Friends and Family Test, it asks:

“We would like you to think about your recent experiences of our service. How likely are you to recommend our service to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?”

We would be grateful to hear about your views and opinions. To take part in the survey click here.
