It is important to continuously develop, grow our skills, and ensure that we are working to best practice guidelines. This award recognises a team or individual who have undertaken education or training and how this has positively impacted our patients, their work, their team or the Trust as a whole.

Andrew Woods |
Andrew has taken his lived experience to better his own practice and his strength and courage has been inspiring to his classmates and tutors.
Andy has not only remained focused and compliant on his academic work but consistently achieved good academic grades throughout.

Mark Brockhurst |
Mark has continued to show professionalism and support with his colleagues, even during very vulnerable times. He has shown compassion and commitment to his patients which we have received multiple feedbacks from mentors and is routinely commended for his attitude to learning and his ability on the road.
As a more mature student he continually supports his peers giving them support, feedback and a critical ear at all times.

Lauren Kay |
Lauren has supported the promotion of apprenticeship programmes across the Trust as well as undertaking the level 6 degree apprenticeship in Paramedic Science. She has consistently proven to be a dedicated and committed student and was elected by her peers to advocated for the cohort in the guise of Class Representative.
She has helped by taking a proactive approach towards public engagement and interacting with potential colleagues and learners, as well as volunteering to be featured in promotional materials.

Andrew has been nominated for his compassion and empathy through every interaction with his patients, even as a year one student paramedic. He is always willing to lend a helping hand, offering support and guidance to his fellow paramedics. His professionalism and commitment to the job set a high standard for everyone to follow, fostering a positive and motivated work environment. |
