Elected: November 2016
I became a Governor of the Ambulance Service to try to help and improve the service the Trust gives to the public of the North East.
I worked for the ambulance service in the Merseyside area from 1966 to 1996 before retiring due to injury.
I worked at all levels of the service from PTS and 999 emergency work to working in the emergency control room.
I feel that the experience I have gained during my working life will help me to try and improve the service given to the public of the North East as well as the ambulance staff themselves.
I look forward to serving as a Governor for the next 3 years and would like to thank the people of South of Tyne for voting for me and giving me this opportunity
