Independent review of how NEAS is run

We want to hear your views

North East Ambulance Service is starting a review of how it is run and governed.

The service is expected to carry out this review every three years. The last one was held three years ago, in November 2011, when the North East Ambulance Service became an NHS Foundation Trust.

A review like this is essential to make sure that the organisation has the right structures and processes in place to deal with the challenges of rising health costs, increase in demand and growth in patient expectations. 

The ambulance service has appointed a consultancy, called Deloitte, to carry out this review us.

We would be grateful if you would take 10 minutes to complete the survey here.

Individual responses will remain anonymous and cannot be attributed back to you. The results of this survey will be analysed by Deloitte and key themes will be reported back to the trust.

Deloitte's survey website is not yet compatible with Apple MAC computers. For anyone with a MAC computer, we can arrange for the survey to be sent in the post and the results uploaded manually. Please email mark.cotton@neas.nhs.uk for a survey to be sent to you in the post. 

The survey should be quick to complete, but you can use the "save and finish later" function and create a password to return to it later and finish, if you wish.

The survey will close on Friday 24th October 2014.
