Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)

Looking for advice? Want answers to questions? Need to talk to someone about a particular issue with the ambulance service?

Then contact our PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) department.

PALS give confidential advice and support, helping you sort out any concerns you may have.

The service provides:

  • Advice and support to patients, their families and carers
  • Information on NHS services
  • Help to sort out problems quickly on your behalf and listens to your concerns, suggestions or queries.

We act independently when handling patient and family concerns, liaising with staff, managers and, where appropriate, relevant organisations. Hopefully we can negotiate prompt solutions - but if necessary, we can refer you to specific local or national-based support agencies.

We are available Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm. Outside of these hours you can leave a message on an answer-machine and you will be contacted the next working day.
