We have a number of specialist roles within our service which we can call upon to support patients when required.
These include:
- Our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART)
- Our Specialist Operations Response Team (SORT)
- Rapid response paramedics
- Specialist paramedics
- Our Evacuation Team
We also work with partners across the region to provide services for patients. This includes our successful partnership with St John Ambulance to deliver end of life transport and the work we do with falls response teams in the community to support fallers who require support but do not need an ambulance. We also regularly call upon our colleagues at Great North Air Ambulance Service to support critically injured patients.
