NEAS20 celebrates 20 years of North East Ambulance Service as we know it today.
Since 1 July 2006, healthcare has changed dramatically and so have we. From advances in technology and clinical practice to new ways of caring for patients closer to home, we've continued to evolve to meet the changing needs of the communities we serve.
But while much has changed, one thing has remained constant: our people. Every member of staff and volunteer has helped shape the service we are today through their compassion, commitment, and dedication to caring for others.
This page brings together the stories, milestones, and memories that mark our 20th anniversary. It's a chance to reflect on how far we've come, celebrate the people behind our service, and look ahead to the future of care across the North East.
