North East Ambulance Service holds successful Annual General Meeting at Teesside University

On Friday, 10 October, North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) gathered approximately 70 employees, stakeholders, and board members for its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Teesside University. The event provided an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the past year and share exciting plans for the future.

The day began with an engaging marketplace featuring stalls from various NEAS departments. Attendees enjoyed interactive tours of service vehicles and specialist equipment, and had the chance to meet teams involved in key areas such as: 

  • Training the next generation of the clinical workforce 

  • Collaborating with healthcare partners to provide alternatives to A&E 

  • Supporting end-of-life care 

  • Working within the Clinical Assessment Service 

  • Delivering community initiatives to teach life-saving skills 

Professor Stuart Corbridge, Chair of North East Ambulance Service, chaired the meeting, which opened with a comprehensive overview of the last 12 months delivered by Chief Executive Kevin Scollay.

Following this, Director of Paramedicine Andrew Hodge presented on clinical developments within the profession, setting the stage for an insightful discussion on the Trust’s vision for 2026 and beyond. The event concluded with a lively Q&A session, offering attendees a chance to engage directly with leadership.
